Successful Local Projects

Beyond The Heavens

In Partnership with Home Theater Films of Studio City, CA, most of the feature length movie, "Beyond The Heavens" was filmed right here. It had the working title, "Barlowe Mann". The film is a faith-based family drama and it features Provost on screen as Provost, AB. Many local residents and businesses participated in the project. The movie will soon be available on DVD from Echolight Studios on their website www.echolight.com.

Successful Local People

Pak Wong

Pak was born in Hong Kong. He pursued opportunities in Winnipeg and Grande Prairie before coming to Provost.

Pak Wong has been a resident in Provost since 1985. In that time, he has been a business owner, member of the local Chamber of Commerce, a sports organizer, a member of the local Economic Development Committee, and a member of the local Fish and Wildlife Association. Pak is truly a Community Champion and his remarkable skills and abilities have made a tremendous positive impact on our community and region.

Pak has shown that there is incredible opportunity in our region!

Candy Dieser

When she is not running her business, Candy is enjoying one of her other passions - mud racing! Candy is registered with the Canadian Mud Racing Organization (CMRO) as a competitive driver and she competes at a number of events each year. Her blue '77 Ford with an 825hp engine is appropriately called, "Sidetracked".

Annual Chamber of Commerce Parade

This annual parade is part of an incredibly exciting weekend in Provost!
The third weekend of each June is the time for several awesome events including:
The Provost Kinsmen Splash and Smash, The Town and MD Community BBQ and of course the parade!
